Biography

P. Brook Swilley is an associate attorney with experience in a wide array of civil litigation. Her practice includes aggressive representation of national retailers and employers in personal injury, consumer, automobile, contract, commercial transportation, premises liability, products liability, insurance coverage, gross negligence, workers' compensation and general tort litigation.

In addition to representing clients in district and county courts across the State of Texas, Ms. Swilley has also handled hundreds of cases before various state and federal agencies, including the Texas Department of Insurance, State Office of Administrative Hearings, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and United States Department of Labor.

Ms. Swilley originally hails from Florida, but she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998. She subsequently worked as a Life/Health Claims Examiner for State Farm Insurance Company before attending South Texas College of Law in Houston where she earned her law degree in 2003. Ms. Swilley has been a licensed member of the State Bar of Texas since 2003. She was admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas in 2004. She is also a member of the Texas and San Antonio Bar Associations.
